COACH MAC

A qualified Level 5 Personal Trainer along with Qualifications as a Level 2 Crossfit Trainer, and Kids Crossfit Trainer; Mac’s years of experience in the sporting arena and amazing ability to inspire his young athletes makes him a force to be reckoned with. He strives to bring out the best in everyone and makes his classes fun and interesting.

COACH NIKKI

With 20+ years experience in exercise and rehab and qualifications that include Degree and Postgrad level in Sports Therapy, Massage and Post Natal Training she brings a wealth of knowledge, empathy and passion to her work.

She understands the juggle of young children and the need to prioritise a mothers own health and well-being. She has a passion for coaching and education and thrives on seeing people working towards being better every day and watching friendships build and flourish.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – BEX

The multiple-hat-wearer! I’m your Client Success Manager, Business Development Manager, Bench Coach, Customer Service, Front Desk, Administrator Extraordinaire. Oh, I also help run Renew Physio.
 
A late-comer to Crossfit/Functional Fitness (found it in my mid-30s), I’m inspired every day by everyday athletes just out here trying to get a little better.  You’ll see me in your consults, in-class PTs, behind the desk, next to you in class lifting barbells and sometimes coaching Sweat classes.  I’ll call, text, email and harass you if you’re not in class but my primary goal is to ensure you feel safe, empowered and that you’re getting the best value from your memberships.  
 
I love burpees, double unders, hang power cleans and dumbbell snatch.  Wall balls and wall walks get a solid thumbs down.    

COACH ROSIE

I discovered CrossFit after 15 years without any sports or regular exercise. At the time, I thought I’d be using the empty barbell forever, and push-ups were only for the strongest women in the world. But I quickly fell in love with the training. I loved how the focus shifted from burning calories to building strength, improving fitness, and learning skills I never thought I could do, like handstands and pull-ups. Now, at 40, I’ve achieved goals that my 20-year-old self wouldn’t have believed possible – and I’m super  passionate about helping others do the same.

I’ve been coaching CrossFit for over eight years, and have multiple certifications including Mobility Specialist, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Kids, Coaching the Ageing Athlete. 

I’m also a nutrition coach, with my masters degree in Sports Physiology and Nutrition. I’ve worked with hundreds of athletes to help them lose weight, gain muscle, and reach performance goals in and out of the gym, and have recently published The Ultimate CrossFit Nutrition Guide for Weight Loss and Performance.

I still remember what it’s like to feel intimidated or unsure in the gym. My goal is to make it simple, supportive, and actually fun. And to help you hit the kind of goals that the younger-you never would have believed possible too.

COACH RANGI

Another local, Rangi brings a calm and straight forward approach to his classes. You can guarantee you will come away with as little nugget of information that helps you in some way and he will always get you to work on time! A Level 1 Crossfit Trainer with a background in adventure racing and having completed the Coast to Coast he understands the mindset and commitment it takes to prioritise yourself and your well-being. He is a committed and inspiring leader and appreciates the importance of strength training to support any endurance sport.

COACH GRACE

I have been a coach at RX Fitness 235 for about four years now (and an athlete here for nearly double that!).

I hold the CrossFit Level 1 certification which has enabled me to build on my coaching abilities. I’m dedicated to helping people reach their goals whilst recognising the importance of building strong coach-athlete connections.

I am passionate about Olympic weightlifting, I love seeing athletes grow in ability and confidence and celebrating their achievements with them.

COACH ANNA

I’m passionate about strength, movement, and resilience. With over eight years in the health and fitness industry, I help people move pain-free, build strength, and regain confidence in their bodies. Growing up on a rural farm and working in the Australian outback, I understand physical demands and functional fitness. As a mum of two, I know the challenges of balancing fitness with real life! I specialise in peri- and post-menopausal women, youth athletes, and injury recovery, offering strength training, movement rehab, and holistic wellness coaching. My down-to-earth, evidence-based approach ensures clients feel supported, educated, and empowered to thrive.

COACH BRE

I started training at RX Fitness 235 when I was 14, originally to help make my schools netball team. Fast forward 10 years, and RX has become a huge part of my life. What began as training quickly turned into building mental resilience, confidence, and a genuine love for pushing myself to be fitter, faster, and stronger. I’ve coached the Heat/Sweat classes for around three years now, and it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about. I love helping people challenge themselves, build confidence, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Seeing members show up, work hard, and back themselves is what makes coaching so rewarding. Alongside coaching, I’m currently studying towards my Master’s in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I’m passionate about combining training, nutrition, and mindset to help people build strong, sustainable habits, that support long term health and performance.
